Used Furniture

UZH runs a used furniture webpage that makes used office furniture that is no longer needed available to students and staff for sale.

The page is not a furniture exchange platform and thus doesn’t include anyone’s private furniture. Advance viewing is not possible, so it’s first come, first serve.

If you are interested in an existing piece of furniture in a UZH office, you are welcome to ask us whether it might be available. Excluded from this are sit-stand tables.

Orders are binding. If you are unable to come to an agreed appointment, you must inform us at least 24 hours in advance.

The webpage lists used UZH furniture only. The furniture may have signs of wear and tear such as scratches and/or chips. These are no grounds for complaint. Advance viewing is not possible.

 

Pick-up locations:
Depending on storage, the furniture must be collected from Irchel Y13 or from the warehouse in Dielsdorf. Collection must be organised by the customer.

Delivery:
Furniture can also be delivered to a UZH building. The prerequisite is that you are always available on the desired delivery day.
you are always available. Costs for a second journey must be borne by the purchaser.

Costs:
Prices according to the second-hand list (cash payment only). The amount must be paid before delivery or collection.
