Accidents with Personal Injury or Material Damage

Procedure in the event of an accident when traveling with a university vehicle for work purposes:

Recording the accident in the event of material damage

 

(Police may be involved)

Fill out the European Accident Report at the site of the accident. Also include further documents if possible (sketch, photos, written witness statements, police report if applicable) and sign the report. 

The damage must be reported to the Canton of Zurich’s insurance service within 48 hours, using the damage form and the European Accident Report.

If a UZH staff member is involved, you must report the accident to Human Resources using the accident form.
